Preschool Division

Green, Purple and Blue Classes

Weekdays, 7:45 am – 5:45 pm (see special times for the Gan class). Early and late stay options are available each day, 7:00 am-6:30pm

Students in all four of our preschool classes (including the Gan) enjoy an exciting schedule rich with music, arts & crafts, gym, swimming, play, computers, dance, movement, school assemblies, holiday and shabbat celebrations. Group time is an integral part of the preschool experience as the children learn essential social skills and are made to feel part of a larger community of learners. Our child-centered classrooms encourage creative exploration where each child flourishes both emotionally and intellectually.

Preschool Green Class

This class is designed to help children (2 ½ years of age) make a smooth transition from the toddler classes to preschool. Emphasis in this class is on fostering the child’s independence, social development, toilet training, motor and language development.

Preschool Purple Class

This class builds on the foundation of the Green class and adds in a rich academic curriculum focusing on children’s literature, math, science and various themes throughout the year.

Preschool Blue Class

The preschool Blue class provides a rigorous academic environment designed to prepare the children for entry into a kindergarten program the following year. We strive to impart to the students in our Blue class all of the basic
learning skills needed for success in all academic arenas, and to create successful, life-long learners.

The Gan Class

Weekdays, 8:45 – 3:00 pm. Early and late stay options are available each day.

The integrated Judaic and Secular studies curriculum in our Gan incorporates many of the features of its parallel class (Preschool Green) with additional emphasis on tefilla (prayer), Torah study, Jewish holidays, Israel, Hebrew language and Shabbat. This class is designed to prepare children for entry into a yeshiva educational system or for those that may just want a rich Jewish experience.

Please contact the Early Childhood Director, Sandi Newman, at (908) 289-8112 Ext. 27 to arrange a tour of the facility or for further information about the programs.
