Youth & Family

The “Y” runs wonderful programs and events for Youth (ages 4 1/2 – 15) and their families, designed for recreation, socialization and education, all within the framework of Jewish values and lifestyle.

Our programs include:

Summer Camp
After-School Program
Vacation Program

Dinner and Movie


Different menu each month
Kids ages 5-11 • 6:00 – 8:00 pm
November 16, December 14, January 25, February 15,  March 21, May 16
We supply Dinner & Popcorn
Fees: Members: $10; Non-members: $12

Birthday Parties


Swim, Zumba, Crafts, Sports, Etc.* We will provide the room and instructor for your special day. You supply the decorations and kosher food and enjoy the festivities. Prices are based on 20 children. All Parties are 1 ½ hours in length.

*Swim parties 1-3pm on Sundays only.

Reserve at least 4 weeks in advance.
Fees: Members $100; Non-Members $125
Additional fees $25-$50 for instructor

Levenberg Picnic Grounds

After Camp at 4pm and on Sundays from 12-4, families are welcome to use our Outdoor Family Pool along with our playground and wooded picnic area.

Arts for All

Presented by the Youth Department. The “Y” is pleased to present a collaboration with the Art for All Program again this year. The mission is to promote the positive impact that music and the arts has on children, youth, and the community as a whole.

Classes for boys and girls ages 3-15 are held on Sundays at our Youth Center on the 3rd floor of the building. A variety of classes are offered in the Arts between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm. Selections include Music and Movement, Art, Drawing, Guitar, Music Reading, Keyboard, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Ethnic Dancing, Ballroom and Broadway Dancing, Percussion Ensemble, Creative Writing, Drama, Acting and Violin.

Classes begin on October 23rd. Registration can be made  on-line at www.artsforallnj.org. Full schedules with details are available on-line and at the “Y”.
